Weekly News for week of 11-18
Hello families! Here is the update on what we are doing this week in class. This week for the first time this year, we will have 3 different spelling lists as well as we will be taking a Spelling Pretest on Tuesday, November 19th. We will be taking our phonics test on Thursday, and the comprehension and vocabulary tests on Friday.
In Math, we will continue with two-digit addition and be working on Ch. 4 Lessons 7-10.

parent meeting memo
Hello. Here is the parent conference meeting paper I sent home with your students today. Please number your choices 1-3 so I can hopefully get you your number one choice. I will send home a reminder sheet next week to confirm your time. If you need a translator please let me know what language.

Thursday, 10/17: Phonics tests - consonant digraphs and base words plus -s,-ed, and - ing endings
Friday, 10/18: Grammar - verbs; vocabulary; spelling; and comprehension: Super Storms

Tuesday, 10/8/19 - Math Ch. 2 Test
Thursday, 10/10/19 - Phonics Test on Double Consonants and CVC syllable pattern
Friday, 10/11/19 - Grammar (Proper Nouns), Vocabulary, Comprehension (The Ugly Vegetables), and Spelling
Field Trip on October 9th (Wednesday)
Please make sure if you are chaperoning you turn in a copy of your driver's license and insurance card tomorrow, Monday, October 7th. If you are a student who has not returned your permission slip please do so by tomorrow, 10/7.
All students need to bring a booster seat and their lunch on Wednesday, October 9th, in order to go on the field trip.
