Recap Tuesday 28th
Good morning parents,
Another good class. Thank you for logging on and participating. Today we worked in our Readers Notebook and reviewed base words ending in -er and -est. As well as changing the y at the end of a word into an I in order to ad the -er or -est. We also took a moment and read our anchor text of the week which is titled "What Can You Do?" Also, we continued to talk about telling sentences and asking sentences and the appropriate end mark that goes in each sentence.
Today we began chapter 12 in math and this is the last chapter in the lesson. This chapter will cover 2 dimensional shapes such as squares, triangles, circles, rectangles, rhombus. We also talked bout the sides and the vertices (corners) of the shapes. If you'd like you can show them the following video that we watched in class today once more https://youtu.be/24Uv8Cl5hvI. The homework is as follows:
Language Art: Lesson 27 Write About Reading. The writing will based on the story What Can You DO? on Thinkcentral and IXL EE 1,2
