Tomorrow October 9th, students will have their test on Social Studies Chapter 4. They are allowed to bring their books home tonight to study.

Tomorrow, October 8th will be our Math Test on Chapter 2. Students are bringing a review test home to study.

 

I wanted to just give a quick update on some things that are happening in the next week or so in 5th Grade.

 

We started writing our first essay as a class. We are writing personal narratives. I will update the due date when we get a little further in the writing process.

 

We will be having our first Math Test next week on Wednesday, September 18th. Students will bring a Practice Test home to help them study.

 

Students should be completing homework every night and turning something in just about every day. The only time when students will not have homework is on the weekends. Students have Reading every day Monday- Friday, spelling every day Monday-Thursday, and Math every day Monday-Thursday unless they took a Math test that day. Math homework is due the day after it is assigned, Spelling Homework is due every Friday, and Reading Logs are due every Monday.

We will be taking the test on Chapter 1 in Social Studies tomorrow, Thursday September 5th. Students will bring a Study Guide home to help them study.

Just a reminder that Spelling homework is given every week and is due on Friday. Reading Logs are also given every week and are due every Monday.
