Good afternoon,

 

This week in Language Arts, we are working on dividing words into syllables based on vowels and consonants, using the prefixes inter-, com-, con-, and cor-, and identifying synonyms and antonyms. In Math we are working on rounding, adding and subtracting decimals. The students will have a mid-chapter quiz in Math on Thursday about lessons 3.1-3.6. In Science we just finished the lesson on consumers and will take a quiz later this week. IXL skills for ELA and Math will have a star next to them.

 

Next week we are having parent/teacher conferences to discuss student's progress in Quarter 1. Please follow the link to sign up for a conference:

Tuesday: Twin Day

Wednesday: Barbie or Superhero Day

Thursday: Teacher's favorite color (mine is pink)

Friday: Hat and Glasses Day
