Week of 5/8
Good morning,
This week we are continuing measurement conversions in Math, we are working on commas in context, Greek and Latin Roots, making inferences, and the prefixes -ous, -ious, -ant, and -ment. In Social Studies we are working on comparing the first American colonies.
This week we also have CAASPP testing for Math. The multiple-choice Math test is Wednesday at 10:30AM. It's important that students get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast on the day of the test.
We are getting ready for the Science Fair, students can choose a group and come up with a project. we will spend a little class time researching and students will have to tell me their groups and their project ideas by Wednesday this week.
We have Let's Go Learn testing round 3 coming up next week. These tests are important in showing me their growth throughout the year, so they should make sure to take it seriously and do their very best.
