Good morning,

 

I hope the students are enjoying their long weekend. I forgot to remind the class on Thursday that this week is Spirit Week. Here are the dress up days:

 

Tuesday: Pajama Day

Wednesday: Senior Citizen Day- dress like you're fresh out of the senior center.

Thursday: Decades Day- K-2^nd grade 60's 3rd-5^th grade- 70's 6th-6^th grade- 80's

Friday: Multicultural Day. Wear your cultural clothing and bring a favorite dish from your culture to share for the class potluck.

 

This week is a short week, and we will be preparing for Multicultural Day. Come see the students hard work on the Puerto Rico bulletin board we have been working on.

 

Tuesday we will be reviewing Chapter 9 in Math, and Wednesday we will be taking the chapter 9 Math test.

 

Please have your student return their field trip permission slip this week for the A's game field trip. Students who turned in their slip last week with parents that indicated they would like to drive students and chaperone the field trip will be given a form to fill out tomorrow. This form must be returned to the office. Chaperones are selected on a first come first served basis. If any parent indicates that they can no longer chaperone, the next parent will be contacted. Parent drivers must show their license and proof of insurance to the office as well as filling out the form. Please also tell me and the office how many students you can fit in your car.

 

We will be taking the CAASPP Math test at the beginning of May- I will remind with the exact dates as it gets closer.

 

April 25th- PTO Meeting @ 9:10AM

April 28th- Multicultural Day, Parents welcome!

May 4th- A's Game field trip
