Week of May 23rd

Good morning,

This week we are taking our last of the CAASPP test, the Science portion. The students are taking that this morning. I am very proud of how hard they have worked on CAASPP testing! There will be no Math homework tonight.

Students Science projects are due on Thursday. I will given them time in class to work on them on Wednesday. Everybody must complete a project for a Science grade. Students should have already let me know if they needed any supplies or posters, but if they have not already, please make sure students let me know if they need anything.

Multicultural Day is this Friday. Parents are encouraged to join for the performances and for the potluck. Performances will take place outside, there will be chairs for the parents. We recommend sunscreen and hats because it will be warm. Umbrellas are not permitted so that we can make sure everybody can see. Students will be seated in the grass for the performances and are encouraged to bring a towel to sit on. Sunscreen and hats are also highly recommended for students as the performances will take place from about 9-11. Students are also encouraged to bring bottled water that day to bring outside with us.

Here's the link to sign up for the potluck:
