Week of March 28th

Good morning!

This week is a short week, but we still have a lot to get done.

This week we are working on Text and Graphic Features, and Main Idea and Details in Language Arts. We are also working on unstressed syllables, easily confused verbs, and adages and proverbs. In Math we are working on plotting and graphing points in a coordinate grid, analyzing line graphs, and numeric patterns. Students will have the Chapter 9 Mid-Chapter Quiz on Wednesday. This week students will also be taking the Social Studies test for lesson 5.

Next week, we will begin state tetsing. We will do Language Arts testing before the Spring Break, and Math and Science testing after the Spring Break. Please make sure you talk with students about testing, and the opportunity they have to show how much they have learned this year.
