Students will be taking the Chapter 7 Math Test on Monday; we are reviewing today, and students have a review test for homework tonight. There were a couple of lessons in Chapter 7 that we did not cover because I covered those standards in different lessons.

 

I also wanted to mention that CAASPP testing is approaching. In order to give students their best chance at success, it is crucial that 5^th grade students know their multiplication tables. Many students in class are still reliant on their multiplication chart, but students will not be allowed to use a multiplication chart during the state test. We do not teach multiplication tables in 5^th grade, so it is important that students are still practicing those at home. If you need resources to help students learn their multiplication tables, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, I'm happy to provide some resources for you.
