We are going to begin working on a State Report today in class. This is going to be a research report on one of the 50 states. Students will be randomly selecting their state. The students are getting the start of the report today, and will be given time at school to do research. If they use their time wisely, they should be able to most of their research done in the time they are given, if not some might need to be done outside of class time. Research notes will be due next Tuesday so that we can begin the writing process in class. On the report directions, it says students must do 14 pages. Instead of that, I have put stars next to the 5 that they have to do and am asking that they choose 2 other topics to research for a total of 7 pages.
