Good Afternoon Parents,

 

Due to the unforeseen circumstances, school will be closed for a period of three weeks from March 16 up to April 3. We will be returning back to classes on Monday April 6. Your child has been provided with adequate school work to be done over a two week period. The final week will replace our original dates for spring break. I have posted a PDF version of the letter that we sent out today notifying parents of all the relevant information pertaining to our school calendar. 

 

These three weeks will NOT be considered as vacation. Your child has work and a total of 4 tests that will be graded upon return back to school. These grades will go towards their report card.

 

In their backpacks, you will find lessons 23 and 24 for language arts and the corresponding workbook pages that must be completed. Next, you will also find math lessons from chapters 9 and 10 in their GoMath books that must be completed as well. There are two corresponding packets of work that go with the chapter work. Parents, please be aware that your children must complete one math lesson per day, no more. The tests for the math will be found at the end of each chapter in their books. 

 

I will be checking in periodically throughout the weeks to confirm that the work is being completed and to offer support if needed. Thank you.
