Good Evening Parents!

 

We have begun Unit 2 in our language arts. The first lesson covers the short 'a' sound and also the elements that make up a complete sentence, such as a subject and a predicate. Our class will be reading a variation on "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" called "Jack and the Wolf."

 

We just finished our subtraction chapter in Math and now we will be beginning to introduce new strategies in solving addition problems. 

 

Hopefully, you will find the fliers for the Fall Festival below. All the information is included in those fliers, so if you have any questions let me know! Our grade is sponsoring a sports gift basket for the silent auction, so bring in any cool sports paraphernalia you are willing  to donate.
