Kindness Activity # 4

This week's activity is to write a thank you note to a local hero and/or an essential worker (police, doctors, nurses, firemen/fire women, grocery store workers, restaurant workers, or teachers). This message should be one that is positive and encouraging for others. It should make people who see it smile when they read your message. Tell them thank you and that you appreciate what they are doing. You may include art work or other goodies if you know of a way to deliver it safely to the people you wrote to.

If you would like to submit a copy of your letter or note to me, I would love to see what you wrote (this is optional).

At the end of the week or once you finish the activity, you will write a journal entry. In this entry, you should include the following: who did you write to and why, did you actually deliver or send the note to who you wrote, how did you make the note and did you include pictures or other goodies with the note, how did it make you feel, how do you think it made the person who got your note feel, and anything else you would like to share with me.

Please make sure your parents and family are on board before you deliver or send the note! You can also just send me a picture of your message and I will share it if you and your parents give me permission to do so!

I hope to see lots of wonderful thank you notes! Can't wait to see your kindness continue to shine in this strange time we are in!
