Hello! My name is Lauren Dascole. I am excited to be returning to KEY Academy this year! I will be teaching sixth grade this year. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families this year. While this is my fifth year teaching at KEY, this is my thirteenth overall year teaching elementary school. I have taught all grades from 1st to 6th. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping my students achieve their dreams and academic success. Some fun facts about me: I love the New York Mets, the Golden State Warriors and anything Disney. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, bowling and hanging out with family and friends.

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back!  I have enjoyed getting to know your students over these first three days of the school year, and I am really looking forward to continuing to get to know them as well you throughout the course of the school year.  Please come to Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 28th, to learn about my classroom rules, procedures, and expectations for this year.  Back to School Night starts at 6 P.M. in the cafeteria and will then have two sessions where you can go to your students' classrooms or meet their Language, P.E., and Art teachers.   Also, there is a Meet and Greet session on Friday, August 30th, in the cafeteria after morning announcements where you can meet the principal of the school, Ms. Maureen.
