Dear Families and Guardian,
Welcome to eighth grade English Language Arts and Science. I look forward to the upcoming school year, we have a rigorous academic school year. Students are expected to write at least 8-12 essays in addition to other work given. All classwork is to prepare students for homework and all homework are put in place to support students for test, quiz, and essays. Please keep up with all assignments, if you miss one assignment this may alter your understanding of the overall content.
The overall grading percentage are as followed, points are given out daily and weekly:
40% Essay/Papers/Assessments/Projects
30% Classwork
15% Homework
15% Participation
*Late work may be accepted with points taken off
*No assignments will be accepted after the grading quarter end
