Meet Miss Karina 🦋 Kindergarten Teacher

Hello! I’m so excited to be joining the Key Academy community as a kindergarten teacher. I am passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. ❤

 

I recently graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with my teaching credential and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Teaching at Saint Mary’s as well. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to begin my teaching career and look forward to growing alongside my students and their families.

 

In kindergarten, I believe learning should be joyful, meaningful, and hands-on. My goal is to create a warm and nurturing classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, building friendships, and discovering their unique strengths. I love watching young learners grow in confidence as they develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Kindergarten also holds a special place in my heart this year because my own daughter is starting kindergarten! As a parent, I understand how exciting, and sometimes emotional, it can be to begin this new chapter. I look forward to building a strong partnership with families and creating a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to come to school each day.
