CSTP GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT

What are my areas of strength?
Over the course of revisiting my CSTP goals, I have seen clear growth in my ability to use assessment data to inform instruction. I have moved from simply collecting data to intentionally analyzing it to guide my teaching decisions. I am now more confident in identifying student strengths and areas of need through both formative and summative assessments. My collaboration with paraeducators has improved, as I now communicate expectations more clearly and work more effectively as a team. I have also strengthened my classroom environment by fostering a sense of safety, trust, and respect among my students. My classroom management has become more consistent, supporting positive student behavior. I have developed stronger reflection practices, allowing me to adjust instruction based on what is or is not working. I am also integrating cooperative learning strategies that promote student engagement and collaboration. My ability to build relationships with students has supported both academic and behavioral growth. Overall, I have become more intentional and purposeful in my teaching practices.

Where are my opportunities for continuous improvement?

While I have made progress, I recognize that I still need to deepen my ability to use data more consistently and efficiently. I want to improve in differentiating instruction based on assessment results to better meet the needs of all learners. Continuing to strengthen my collaboration with paraeducators through structured planning time is an area of focus. I also aim to refine my classroom management strategies to ensure all students remain engaged at all times. I need to be more consistent in implementing cooperative learning structures with clear expectations and accountability. Strengthening my reflection practices by using specific evidence to evaluate my teaching will support further growth. I would like to expand my use of AI and other tools to support data analysis and instructional planning. Building more student independence and ownership of learning is another area for improvement. I will continue working on balancing pacing to ensure both depth and understanding. Overall, I aim to move from applying to integrating these practices consistently across all areas.

What are most proud of?

I am most proud of the growth I have made from an emerging level toward a more confident and reflective educator. I have developed a stronger understanding of how to use assessment data to positively impact student learning. Seeing my students improve academically and behaviorally has been very rewarding. I am proud of the relationships I have built with my students, creating a classroom where they feel safe and supported. My increased confidence in collaborating with paraeducators has strengthened the overall learning environment. I am also proud of my willingness to reflect on my teaching and make necessary adjustments. Implementing cooperative learning strategies has helped increase student engagement and participation. I have shown persistence and commitment to improving my instructional practices. I am proud that I continue to seek growth and remain open to feedback. Most importantly, I am proud that my efforts are making a meaningful difference in my students’ success.
