Dear Parents,
I am so happy to have celebrated our 100th days of school this past Wednesday. We had some fun activities with your child! Here are the spelling and vocabulary words for next week. Please take some time to go over them with your child and encourage or remind them to work on their reading logs. It helps students with spelling, vocabulary, reading fluency, and reading comprehension!
Also, there are many exciting activities coming up this month and next month!
-Valentines cards can be passed out if your child would like or they could bring in a treat to share with the class.
-Presidents Day is around the corner and we will be finding out more about some past presidents.
-Black History month is upon us and we will be finding out more about different people that made history.
-Literacy month is coming up next month. Please encourage your child to read, read, and read! Your child with be making a book poster about a book read starting in the month of March. There will be a book parade to follow after the due date of the book poster. Also, in class we will have presentations to share out their hard work!
