Quarter One Update

Grades are all put in and report cards will be coming out next week! This week we are coming closer to the end of Chapter 3 in math and students are being taught new ways to think about addition to expand their understanding of the concept. This is going to be the most challenging topic we have covered this far, so if any students (or parents) need me to help out with any extra work, send an email!

We are in the middle of our 2nd unit in language arts and exploring scientific texts about animals, consonant-r blends (words that start with br-, cr-, dr-, fr-, etc.), and creating sentences with a series of commas. Keep up the good work reading with your kids. Now your students should be able to do their homework on their own, try to encourage them to work independently!
